Capital District Pagan Cluster

Age Range/Type: Family
Located in: Albany/Troy area, New York
Key Contact: Rev.Dr. Timothy Lake

Spiritual Path: Schenectady Pagan Cluster
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Open Circles... Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: The Capital District Pagan Cluster is a paneclectic pagan congregational church serving the tricity area and centered in Troy, NY. We also are part of the local interfaith activities. The Cluster has ordained clergy to lead Rites of Passage. We seek to provide a safe and comfortable place of worship and a congenial environment fit for learning. To that end,
we sponsor a weekly public ritual on sundays at 7pm, regular classes on personal and clerical development, seasonal special events and a host of other services . The CDPC has developed its ritual form over the past years into a tradition of its own which has roots in Nordic
Pantheism, Celtica/Druidry, Reclaiming Witchcraft,
Pagan Way ( American Gardnerianism) and in the various inputs from members. We work with a different deific pair each month. An outline of our rituals from 2002 to present is available upon request. As we are a teaching working group, all levels of experience are welcome. We have a college affiliate group at the RPI campus in Troy. The CDPC sponsors many field trips, lectures and meet and greets. Give a call as to when things are happening and how you can get involved. After attending at least 3 rituals or events, you can apply to be a member of the church.
