Group Overview: Congregation OkanAye (Heart of the Earth) is a Santeria/Vodou congregation under the guidance of Asiel Baez, a Santeria High Priest of Oshun. The purpose of this congregation is to help educate the general public about African based religions such as Santeria, Vodou, Candomble, Palo Mayombe etc. and help those interested in initiation to have a safe and responsible religious house in which to grow spiritually. Rituals, services, workshops, meetings, African Holidays, and much more will be offered at different times and people are welcome to join as long as love and respect are present.
