Group Overview: Greetings to you weary traveler.
I've formed a group in 2004 due to lack of groups in my area and how others have been run. This group is as free as far as the wind blows and as far as our spirits and the Gods take us.
I believe the Pagan Spiritual Path is as diverse as the pagan-witch practicing it. It doesn't matter what path you stem from so long as we all can come together to worship the old gods in a respectable, peaceful and fun manor.
As of right now, we are just women and wish to remain that way for the time being. We also at this time are only accepting 18 and over for safety reasons. But, we are looking to expand. As with the cycle of life that ever ebbs and flows, so does the dynamics of the group. Nothing ever stays the same.
We are currently an adult group only, but age technically doesn't matter. You can have a specific title on your spirituality or simply a nature lover honoring the cycles of life. We may be open to involving mature young adults into our fold under the guidance of their parents.
In most group rituals (Sabbats) we do honor both God and Goddess aspect and worship them in the state that the "hostess" has provided. Hence, we don't dwell on one specific pantheon. We do take turns holding and preforming the ritual and like ALL participants to participate in coven magick.
There may be teaching available if you need it. You don't need to be adapt to join this group. The basics are fine and the rest you will learn. Also to note: we do not mind what tradition you follow whether it's from the Greek or Egyptian pantheon or if you are a Christian Witch. If you follow the Voudon beliefs or to the faeries. If we all come together to celebrate the Olde Ways, then in the heart of the Gods we are as one!
