Merry Meet! Oscawana Valley Pagan Pathway is a Wiccan training and worship group with foundations in the Gardnerian tradition. We are a new group forming and are seeking members who wish to learn Wicca in both a class and ritual setting. Our desire is to begin classes by Samhain of 2012 or sooner.
Classes are somewhat formal and are taught through lecture, discussion, hands-on work and some light homework. Students are encouraged to participate is all aspects of the topics as we have found in the past that we learn as much from our students as they do from us. A sampling of classes would include: Wiccan history and ritual, the altar and tools, spiritual cosmology, sensitivity to energy, divination, meditation exercises, incense making, herb lore, magick, discussions on books read from the reading list and much more.
Rituals are structured and led by a High Priestess and High Priest. Students will take roles in the rituals and eventually will be given the opportunity to lead.
We are located in Putnam Valley, NY within a short driving distance from Putnam County, Northern Westchester, Southern Dutchess and Danbury, CT. Teens welcome if accompanied by a parent.
The path of our Lord and Lady is filled with love, joy, enlightenment, challenge and connection to our Earth and all of Her creations. Blessed be.
