Braided Wheel Tradition Study Group
A WitchVox Sponsor

Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: New York City, New York
Key Contact: Nightfall

Spiritual Path: Braided Wheel Wicca
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: Braided Wheel is an offshoot of the Blue Star Tradition of Wicca. We practice a fairly common form of American eclectic Wicca similar to most American traditions. An initiatory tradition with an enduring devotion to teaching, service and personal spiritual development, we have no orthodox position on theology. Practitioners are given the tools, methods and education to cultivate their own personal relationship with the sacred within a Wiccan paradigm. Our tradition simply provides a framework and heritage to promote fellowship and a sense of family that binds us in an affirming and welcoming support system. Braided Wheel differs from other traditions in that we feature initiation into the Braided Wheel Tradition Community itself and not necessarily a specific coven. While students who complete the First Degree in Braided Wheel tradition may request to join The Braided Ring Coven, Braided Wheelers may join any coven or covens they choose, or may simply remain solitary. Again, ours is a path of individual spiritual development in fellowship. We are a family.

The study group shall meet no less than twice monthly, observe sabbats and esbats and include training in the First Degree. Space is limited. This group is ideal for the pagan/wiccan solitary interested in formal training and an intimate group of serious-minded, mature seekers. The degree program is comprehensive including religious, academic and magical/spiritual training at no cost beyond recommended books, and those may also often be found in libraries. There is no room for bigotry of any kind in the Braided Wheel Tradition, so please come with an open heart and open mind. We may be reached through witchvox or at braidedring@gmail.com. We respond to all inquiries, so be sure to check spam/junk folders if you do not hear back from us.
