Group Overview: Buckeye Folk Hearth is the original and first local chapter of Vinlandic Folk USA and was started around Ostara of 2008 as a viable Heathen Alternative to the other groups that existed locally and then went national with our sacred mission.. We emphasize the lore as expressed in Eddas and the Sagas. We believe in walking the walk and not just talking the talk. Our patron is Thor and he has warded us and we have grown strong with his blessing. We often get together for the Holidays, Rites of Passage, Sumbel, Moot, Movies, or whatever. Full Membership in Vinlandic Folk is semi exclusive but all events are fully open to the public. Interested? Get ahold of me via Email and Ill get right back with you ASAP.

Vinlandic Folk cares nothing for the squabbles between Folkish Folk vs. Universalist Folk nor Theodists vs. Odinists vs. Asatruar vs. Irminists . We care only to forge a new Germanic Culture and practice our religion rooted in the ways of old....We must accept that we are citizens of Nations and to this end we dare to ally ourself with the system as it is for sake and growth of our ways. We will not tolerate infighting among our folk. It is time we grow up, raise the bar of education, and work together in a manner which is supportive and Healthy. We will dare to look toward our bright future rooted in our great past and we will face our destinies with courage and Honor.We will also strive to educate and inform the public about our ways, speaking as guests in Germanic Studies and Philosophy Departments at our local Colleges, establishing Hofs and Temples and writing our localized media and Newspapers.We will host public gatherings which will inspire and strengthen the community and all can recieve the Holy blessings of the Gods and spirits. WE will embrace a new world where Heathen Gods thrive and their followers prosper. Hail the Gods and Hail the Folk (All the Folk) .
