Group Overview: Currently unbirthed, Children of the Wise Oak Community Coven is currently forming a study group facilitated by its future HPs Lady Lillie and her future Maiden, Willow Moon. Children of the wise Oak Community Coven will be a teaching coven which works through a 3 degree system bringing credentialed and legally ordained pagan clergy to the community. The purpose of the study group is to form a working relationship with those of like mind in order to birth the coven, Children of the Wise Oak this coming Autumn 2009.
Lady Lillie is a Second Degree Priestess and Vice President of the Norse Wiccan Community Church. In September 2009, she is scheduled to receive her Third Degree from the Queen Mother of Our Lady of Wisdom Coven; Lady Brigit of the Coven Eldar and become eligible for her ordination. After completeing the writing of the Book of Shadows that will establish the doctrine for the Children of the Wise Oak Community Coven and completing the making of the shield which will provide her students with their lineage, her ordination will be granted by the Initiate Council of NWCC.
Lady Lillie hopes to bring a new awakening to the community in which she lives and serves by bringing public rituals to the area, encouraging advocasy, public awareness through education and serving the community volunteering as local pagan clergy.
