Group Overview: Welcome to the Circle of Luna Gaia, where we celebrate and preserve the Wiccan ways by trusting the guidance of the Goddess and God, dedicate to study and practice, and commune with nature's turning wheel. We choose to be "Eclectic" because we acknowledge that we all have different backgrounds, interests, and personal ways to relate to Goddess and God. We are a Circle, like family, caring about each others lives and spiritual journey. We are here to learn together, experience together, and celebrate life through the Wiccan Tradition together. Luna Gaia, to us, means our sacred connection to the Divine, As above, So below! We see and feel the presence of the Goddess in the Moon above and the honor its changing phases. Below us is the sacred Mother Earth, which sustains us and reflects the cycle of life that we relate to. In this Circle we spend alot of time on educating ourselves in many Wiccan practices and fundamentals. Everyone has a responsibility to help research and share their knowledge and experiences. We do not limit our research to any particular tradition, just as long as it holds to the core Wicca concepts and Rede. We will gather on Full Moons and on Solar holidays (Esbats and Sabats) . Sometimes we will schedule gatherings on weekends if Holiday or Moon falls on a weekday. This is not meant to be disrespectful to Goddess and God, it just allows more of us to be involved. When we are not together, you are more than welcome to practice Wicca in your own Sacred space whenever you deem it necessary. We do not wish to keep you from your own Solitary practices and truly encourage you to spend time outside of Coven, learning, practicing, and developing your relationship with Goddess and God. In this Circle we will learn many different methods for meditation, ritual acts, and spellwork. We will have "Craft" projects where we will make altar tools, book studies, movie nights, dinners, parties, camp outs, and other Pagan outings. Also we will find ways to give back to the community to show our appreciation for what we are blessed with and to spread the Light of our Goddess and God with the world. Our Coven is ran in a very democratic manner, where everyone's voice is heard. As long as you remain a very active covenmate, your opinions and wishes will be considered as much as any. For larger decisions, or when there are conflicting opinions, it will be taken to the Council of the Circle of Luna Gaia, consisting of the Elders. All major Coven altering decisions will be discussed and decided on in the Council. We, The Council, are very excited about our Coven. Together we will be striving to gain knowledge and experience, establish our Degrees as Initiates to Wicca, and then go on to make our Coven official in the books. First, we must seek out our perfect members and grow united as a Circle and spiritual family! We hope you like it with us, if you decide you want to become a Covener of Luna Gaia, let us know.
