Group Overview: The Sage Grove Coven is an incorporated religious fellowship under the Oklahoma Law and Statute, under the name of Sage Grove, Inc. We are in the process of obtaining 501 (c) (3) non-profit registration.
Our roots come from the Ancient Thracian tradition of Eastern Europe (Geto-Dacian) . We honor the Ancient Gods and Goddesses, our ancestors, and the spark of Divinity in each human being. We strive to keep the ancient traditions and lore alive. We are part of the nature and nature is part of us. We learn to acquire balance within ourselves and all that surrounds us.
We respect everybody’s right to search for truth, meaning and spiritual growth, as well as their right to their own beliefs, religion, way of life, dignity and respect. We do not force our beliefs and practice upon others. We treat everybody equally, without consideration of their age, gender, beliefs, sexual orientation, ethnic background, or physical handicaps. We believe in justice, love, support and compassion in human interaction.
We are close followers of the traditional ways of the craft, and in the celebration of rituals and ancient skills and lore as they were and still are practiced in the Old World. Our main purpose is to keep and pass down further the ancient traditions as unaltered as possible.
We offer public worship, classes, workshops, healing, divination, dream interpretation, counseling, and more, and are legally able to provide clergy services as well. We also have open rituals and celebrations.
We do have an “open day” every Saturday starting at 3:30 pm at the covenstead, with free classes, workshops, and discussions. The classes are taught by our priestess Day, who is a Romanian born and trained family/traditional witch and a priestess of the Dacian tradition. For attending these “open days” please either e-mail or call for directions, as well as see the ad we have here on witchvox, "The way of the sage".
We are sorry, but we do not accept children to be brought to these classes. We do not have a separate place for children to play, and in our tradition children are not to be exposed to the open practice of witchcraft.
Also, if you are between the age of 16-18, we will require either a written consent from your legal parent/guardian and an in-person meeting with them prior to you attending our meetings, or you to be accompanied by your legal parent/guardian.

IMPORTANT: we are NOT a Wiccan coven. Our tradition is from Eastern Europe, from the territory that was occupied by Thracian tribes, the Dacians being a Thracian tribe that lived roughly on the present territory of present Romania.
