Group Overview: Lunae Loti Sacrae is a traditional, closed court Wiccan coven located in Lawton, Oklahoma. Our tradition is Lunae, an eclectic path of Wicca that incorporates a family tradition of Witchcraft. Lunae Loti Sacrae is Latin for "Moons of the Sacred Lotus". Among family and friends our coven is simply known as Sacred Lotus. As dictated by the tradition it follows, Sacred Lotus uses an 8 tier degree system for its priesthood training and is one of three covens within the Lunae Grove.
Additionally, the Lunae tradition has its own seminary, Lunae Institute of Metaphysical & Religious Studies ("LIMRS") , which confers both academic degrees of a religious nature (e.g. Bachelor of Religious Studies & Master of Divinity) and clergy credentials (i.g. Ordained Minister/Reverend) to members of each Lunae coven upon the completion of required coursework. LIMRS was incorporated as a religious nonprofit in the State of Missouri on June 2, 2010, is an official 501c3 corporation as dictated by IRS Publication 1828, and has received exemption from proprietary certification from the State of Missouri's Coordinating Board for Higher Education. This exemption is a great accomplishment for LIMRS. To our knowledge, LIMRS is the first and only Wiccan seminary in the State of Missouri to have such exemption.
