Group Overview: The Spiral Cult Circus is a ritual performance troupe that produces events which incorporate theatrical ritual with circus elements and themes. We are currently seeking members with some type of performance skill or background (or an interest in event management) that are either already versed in hermetic magic or are interested in learning and personal growth in that direction.
Performing members of the circus develop characters after the fashion of Commedia del' Arte; using aspecting and, ultimately, the assumption of God-forms. This is serious activist magical work with the intention of growing shows and spreading a message of human ascension.
Currently, we produce these events from our beautiful and spacious Covenstead, Eagle's Rest, but we would like to get out into yet larger venues.
We are very open and respectful of the beliefs and magical understandings of others; however, we do not tolerate the regular performance of baneful, negative or self-destructive magic. We do understand and accept that in some particular rituals the practitioner may need to explore underworld energies.
Current members are polyamorous and accepting of BDSM. The circus includes adult themes and performers.
