Spiritual Path: Correllian Nativist Tradition
Status: Group Forming
Community Support: Open Circles...

Group Overview: The Temple of the Open Eye espouses personal awareness of the inner self and the outer worlds. We study and practice Correllian Nativist Traditional Wicca with an emphasis on deep learning, interdisciplinary knowledge, and expansion of consciousness.

We do not champion any one particular deity as this is a highly personal choice. Rather, we encourage the broad understanding of the spiritual beliefs and practices of varied cultures throughout history. We do acknowledge that divinity is real, can be known by many names, and manifests as both female and male, spirit and matter, the yin and the yang. By studying these mysteries we can better know ourselves and thereby discover our own unique connection to Deity.

Furthermore, we believe in the marrying of ethics with enlightenment. Our vision for future generations is to learn from our past and build upon those lessons by evolving into a better and brighter people. Personal integrity is woven into the fabric of personal evolution. For this reason, we honor the principals set forth by the Ancestors and Priesthood of the Correllian Tradition.

Membership will be by application and will have many benefits, including but not limited to: access our study groups, group events, online website, chat sessions, physical and digital libraries. Events may include excursions such as weekend retreats, group attendance at regional and international festivals, picnics, camping trips, and visits to relevant museums and historical sites.

Within the Correllian Tradtion we are known as a Witan Shrine and are in the process of becoming fully recognized as a temple in the tradition. Our members have been part of the tradition for many years. We are also pursuing a 501c3 non-profit status for federal tax purposes.

We are currently accepting applications for membership and will begin holding official meetings in October 2012.

Our website is currently under construction but should be functioning by mid September 2012.
