Spiritual Path: Ancient Egyptian Traditions and Religion
Status: Established Group

Group Overview: The Temple of Ptah, located in Beaverton, Oregon is run by the Reverend Michael Poe, High Priest of Ptah. The Temple is part of the Church of the Eternal Sources (or CES) federation of temples in the United States. The CES is the oldest church organized in the US dedicated to the Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt. The Temple of Ptah was begun in 1975 in California and relocated to Beaverton in 2001.
The temple is dedicated to ALL Ancient Egyptian gods and goddess, with an emphasis on the triad of Mennefer, Ptah, Sekhmet and Nefertum as well as Imhotep. We practice both private and semi-public rituals. Due to limitations of space all public rituals are by invitation only. Festivals are held several times a year (for example, the Festival of Ptah and Isis in January) .
Classes and a discussion group are formed from time to time as well as many meet and greet meetings. The temple is open to all pagans who have an interest in the Ancient Egyptian religion. The Temple of Ptah also is directly associated with the other CES temple in Portland, the Temple of Renenutet.
You can read the CES online newsletter at www.sites.google.com/site/churcheternalsource for further information of our Temples Rituals, Festivals and Feasts.
You can also email us below if you have any questions or want to attend an event. We will have to have met you personally before you are able to attend a ritual or festival (such as at a Meet and Greet meeting) . This is due to the fact the ritual space can only hold a limited amount of people and since it is in a private temple, we want to make sure that everyone’s energy meshes together.
