Group Overview: Weavers of the Moonfire is a Wiccan coven located in Eastern Pennsylvania, but serving the Tri-state area. Moonfire was the third coven to form in the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, our mother organization, and holds the staff of the Circle of Pisces. As members of Moonfire, each of us are dedicated to education and change.
Weavers of the Moonfire explores the multitude of paths that are available to the magickal practitioner. We have found that diversity keeps a magickal group healthy, and the various perspectives of our members brings depth to our magickal experience. The interests of our members include, but are no means limited by the following: Qabala, Tarot, Astrology, Mediumship, British/Celtic mythology, Healing systems, Meditation, Herb lore, Crafts, Aspecting, and Chant.

We feel that by using each of these means, we are able to reach a higher level of understanding in ritual and sacred space. Each member participates fully in ritual, so as to expand their knowledge and skills as a member. We pride ourselves in being a teaching coven, one that will assist in the growth of each member as they walk the path of the Lord and Lady.

As a member coven of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, we are fortunate to be a part of an organization with federal 501c3 recognition. Our Third Degree members are able to perform legal handfastings, and act as clergy in the community at large. We also participate with the Assembly in much larger rituals, such as the Annual Festival of Hecate, and the Ritual for the Stag God Cernunnos. We feel that these large magickal rites allow us to interact with the community at large, and provide opportunities for growth for both our members and attendees at the events.

Moonfire hosts opportunities for people to get to know our coven members through open events. Those interested in membership, or just those who would like to know more about Wicca are welcome to attend our open rituals and events, after contacting our High Priest or High Priestess or a coven member directly.
