Group Overview: Temple of Gaia Incorporated is a a fully functioning coven. We hold monthly meetings to teach circle castings, phases of the moon, rituals, spell castings, sabbats, runes, tarot, divination and history of the Craft.
We charge no fees for teaching or for joining the coven, but donations are accepted since we do use candles, incense and salt.
We also suggest pot-luck covered dishes brought during the sabbats...other times and during meetings we suggest you bring your own snacks, beverages or sandwiches.
Temple of Gaia is involved with handfastings, wiccanings, house blessings, wiccan funerals, community services, our own food bank, working with local law enforcement agencies, women abuse centers, religious discrimination and an advocate against women/child/men/animal abuse.
All handfasting, wiccaning, passage rites, funerals, house blessings services provided by the Temple of Gaia is done by the whole coven and we only ask for donations for our services.
We do ask that people under 18 years of age bring their parents along to meet us and give us their approval for us to teach their children. This is the law, no exceptions!
We are also one block away from the trolley, which takes you to the el station and a bus stops right out front of our door. So we are convenient to public transportation.
We are also an EEOC Temple, all are welcomed and invited at anytime. We are also handicap equipped, with a ramp in the back of our house, and everything is on one floor. We do not discriminate against race, creed, heritage, nationality, handicap, lifestyle or religious affiliation.
We are an open coven, media is invited at any time and the public is always welcome to witness our rituals. There might be times when the news media would want to take pictures, so don't be bashful. We can make arrangements for those who care not to be included in photo shoots.
