Group Overview: The intent of members of the Delaware Valley Reclaiming Community is to practice Witchcraft in the Reclaiming tradition, to support each other in our spiritual journeys, to support each other's personal empowerment and the empowerment of our community to effect change in the world as reflected in the Reclaiming Principles of Unity. Currently members meet for ritual, potluck suppers, a regular monthly study group, classes, and for political action as the spirit moves us.
Reclaiming is a living, evolving and teaching tradition that is non-hierarchical, with participants sharing power and working to reach decisions through consensus. We believe that sacredness and spiritual authority are inherent in each of us. Our style of ritual has been described through the words “ecstatic, improvisational, ensemble, inspired, organic.”
