Group Overview: This is a group in and around the South Central Pennsylvania Area led by a 3rd Degree High Priest, formerly educated by an established clan system that has Gardnerian lineage.
We meet regularly for Sabbats, Esbats, weekly training and take part in various pagan events. Special classes and workshops are open when offered. Our Rituals, Sabbats and Esbats are performed in a great Fire Circle on 2 acres of private land.
This group uses an alcoholic libation during Ritual "Cakes and Ale" along with adult responsibilities. We offer a non-alcoholic substitute for those who request it. Ritual robes are typical, but not required. Children are welcome with responsible parents.
This group is actively seeking serious students. We are an initiatory, oath bound coven/clan system that primarily practices Gardnerian-like rituals along with several traditional paths - eclectically.
This group has a 13 lesson plan in the ways of the witch and progresses through a degree system. These lessons are generally taught thru the weekly Coven Night calendar schedule, which is given to the student on a quarterly basis. This group follows a basic hierarchy of protocols. Our craft practice encourages our students to take an active role in creatively expressing their personal spiritual belief and concept of Deity. Our students live, love, laugh and learn through personal and social experiences.
Each Student goes thru a 4 level process to become a Coven leader under the BRMC umbrella.
1. Dedicant with a Dedicant Challenge
2. 1st Degree with a 1st Degree Challenge
3. 2nd Degree with a 2nd Degree Challenge
4. 3rd Degree with a 3rd Degree Challenge
There is a 'test' before elevating to any particular degree status that incorporates everything that you have learned up to that point in your Wiccan education to include all classes/workshops, Esbats and Sabbats. Each 'test' is designed to see, not only how much you have learned, but also how much you have retained.
This group is well organized in its Wiccan education, but very flexible with its students within reasonable standards.
We are affiliated with the Emerald Grove of Lancaster County.
This group takes field trips to local and distant mountains, lakes and other excursions abroad. We enjoy our June vacation at Free Spirit Gathering in Maryland.
