Group Overview: The Covenant of Brighid's Haven, more commonly known as Brighidshaven, is a small, eclectic Wiccan coven. We are dedicated to hosting open-to-the-public pagan events and helping to build pagan community in our area and beyond.
We host eight to twelve open events each year. Among them, one for each major Sabbat, storytelling circles, open full-moon events, and just for fun events such as performances of the Chocolate Ritual. We offer classes and workshops as time and opportunity allows. We of Brighidshaven believe strongly in the inestimable value of community, celebration, and connection both to the world and to one another. Our rites and events vary widely in subject and style, but always tend to reflect these values, be it through loud laughter, or quiet contemplation.
Some of our members are available as legal clergy, and we, in general, are available for handfastings, wiccanings, and other life-event services. Please contact us as far in advance as possible to arrange services of this kind. This allows for adequate scheduling and preparation.
Brighidshaven welcomes individuals or groups of any experience level at any of our open events. We are a family friendly coven, and children are always welcome unless otherwise noted in event announcements. We invite you to please come and share in our celebrations, as well as in some of the finest pot-luck feasts to be found anywhere!
