Group Overview: The Coven of Red Fox is currently accepting students to be trained as ordained Wiccan Clergy. We are an initiatory, oath bound Clan that practices in an "Old Guard" and "Traditional" way. Our focus includes Celtic/Germaninc Pagan Folkloric practice, Wiccan Spirituality, many different divination practices, PA Dutch Pow-Wow (aka Braucherei) and Traditional Witchcraft practices. We also take the all important exploration of the historical and ethical evolution of what is now Modern Wicca .
Our "Craft" practice is structured with written lessons, open discussion, and demonstrative activities, challenging students to progress beyond their own limitations and empower themselves. This encourages students to take an active role in creatively expressing their personal spiritual belief and concept of “deity”. This personal growth, self-understanding, and self awareness, helps the student to understanding the interaction of others and is an integral part of a successful magickal and Spiritual Wiccan practice. Through this study, students will learn to tap in to and learn to balance the immeasurable power of the “group mind”.
We meet regularly for Sabbats and Full Moon , fun and feasting and usually bi-weekly for training. We regularly take part in various pagan events, festivals, camping events, drumming circle, and other pagan out reach. We are very active in the greater pagan community and encourage our students to do the same.
Special classes, workshops and circles are open with an inquiry or an invitation. Occasional Wicca 101 classes run when there is enough interest. Other services include Legal Weddings, Handfastings, Wiccanings, Funerals, Civil Unions, Belly Blessing, House Blessings and Rites of Passage. Feel free to inquire with us about any of the above, any upcoming events and any general questions.
I strive to promote a safe and healthy learning environment for all of our students and their families. We are family friendly, understanding the struggles of parents trying to learn and practice the craft, and of those not child oriented. Striking that balance enriches the lives of our students.
