Group Overview: Earendel is an Anglo-Saxon inhíred. We believe that the true path of the Saxon Pagan involves honoring the gods, goddesses, ancestors and spirits of the land (ylfe) in a similar fashion to that of our Germanic ancestors.
We are an inhíred, meaning a tribe or extended family. Our gatherings are not open to the public, but during the holy tides we often invite guests to join us. If you are interested in Anglo-Saxon Paganism, please contact us.
Earendel is an extremely active group. You may be familiar with the book 'Travels Through Middle Earth: The Path of a Saxon Pagan' which Alaric Albertsson has written. Alaric and Taren Martin are now collaborating on a rune book to be packaged with a set of 33 rune cards of the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc.
In the past our híredmenn have spoken at various gatherings, facilitated Pittsburgh Pagan Pride for several years, and traveled to festivals and gatherings around the country.
The family of Earendel works to revive the old ways - fyrn sidu - not just how we as a tribe praise and honor the gods, goddesses, ieldra (ancestors) and ylfe (elves) , but also in how we live our daily lives.
