Group Overview: The Inner Path is an BTW based open pagan community providing family friendly public sabbat rituals and quarterly workshops in Delaware County. The purpose of our group is to provide fellowship, community, opportunities for learning, and participation in Esbat and Sabbat rituals.
Our roots go back over 10 years ago when Lady Kaleah of Sacred Crossroads Coven begin to offer open public Sabbat celebrations in Delaware County. The Inner Path was formed in 2004 from a core group of regular partipants and graduates of Lady Kaleah's Wicca 101 classes. For many years, the Inner Path served as the outer court community for the Sacred Crossroads family of covens. In 2011, we became our own independent entity, but we will always be indebted to Lady Kaleah for the foundation she provided to us.
The Inner Path continues to offer Wheel of the Year Open Sabbat Ceremonies. All members of the local community are welcome to our Celebrations, from the simply curious seekers to the experienced participant. We especially encourage families to attend. This in itself is a tremendous learning experience.
We have seen a significant growth in the exploration of Pagan paths and other forms of alternative spirituality. The numbers of people attending our open Sabbat celebrations has more than tripled since we began holding them and we are often asked for more advanced classes on Wiccan topics.
Formal membership in the The Inner Path is open to graduates of our Introduction to Wicca series which is offered to those wanting to keep learning and practicing at a higher level than just attending open Sabbat Celebrations. Many members of the Inner Path have divided into small ritual groups or became members of Sacred Crossroads Coven or one if its Daughter Covens. We also have an Inner Path on-line discussion group through which members can share their thoughts and ideas about various related topics.
Inner Path activities have included:
• Workshops on various Wiccan or occult topics
• Book discussion groups
• Children's classes and ritual
• Full or New Moon celebrations
• Healing rituals for community members
• Rites of Passage for adults and children
• Community service projects
• Field trips/Pagan shopping trips
