Group Overview: Greetings!!
Bright blessings abound with this new Tweeners Grove. We are accepting new members of alternate faiths with parental permission and optional participation. This group will be oriented to the "Tweeners". These kids are generally ages 9 to 13 and typically interpreted as 4th-7th grades. We will accept up to 8th grade as well due to general age range.
It is meant to be an organization where parents are actively involved with their children, rather than some place parents leave their kids while doing other things. This Grove does not teach any specific religion or tradition.
We will conduct Group Meetings once a week on Tuesdays with potential outings and excursions within seasonal parameters. We are looking at an official start date of January 2012 for the new Solar Year. The location for all Meetings is still being considered; we may be using a local library or Community Room.
This Tweeners Grove is led by an experienced Pagan Leader within the Community since 2004, who has worked with preschoolers and the mentally retarded in the past.
There are no particular uniforms or specific colors to wear while a member of the Tweener's Grove. Otherwise, if you have any questions, please contact the Tweener's Grove Organizer, Lord Fairy Bottom.
