Group Overview: This is a new group I am forming right now. I would like to have my first public ritual around Samhain, since it's a perfect time to found a new group and wish it well.
Now, I only have about 2 years of experience in the Wicca path, but I have learned from my strongest leaders in my other group, San Fernando Valley Pagans and Wiccans Circle in Van Nuys, California. We have very experienced High Priests and Priestesses that have been showing me the ropes of leading rituals. I have assisted in some of the rituals, including calling quarters and reading poems. So, by the time we start our own rituals, I will know how to lead the majority of it.
Like the SFV group, I will be leading special workshops and special meditations during our rituals. However, you are always welcome to contribute ideas to help the group grow. I love hearing suggestions and comments after an ritual.
As I said, anybody is welcome to join and leave as they please. I don't discriminate on whatever path you are a part of, even if it isn't Wiccan, Pagan, Shaman, etc. The SFV group has its share of Pagans, Wiccans, and even some open-minded Christians. We all get along just fine and I hope to do the same thing with this group.
