Group Overview: Founded on Yule 2004, the Amber Raven Circle holds as its central belief the immanence of the Divine, celebrating the equality of the female and male, which is manifest in all things, including the Divine. We strive to experience the interconnections between all things, acknowledging that each is part of a greater whole and that each is inherently sacred. Since each member of the Circle is an individual, we do not focus on a single culture or Divinity, but welcome all equally. All religions and philosophies are branches in the Tree of Life. Each tradition has meaning and wisdom, and should be respected.
The Amber Raven Circle acknowledges the rights and responsibilities of all individuals to act as they will, so long as they do not inflict harm on themselves or others, nor infringe on the rights of others. We seek to live in a sacred manner because we live in a sacred world. Members of the Amber Raven Circle do not harm, use baneful magic, or use magic to manipulate others, because we recognize the Divine in all things. We strive to always be open, honest, and fair, treating all with reverence, respect, compassion, and gratitude. All members of the Circle shall show respect to each other and show tolerance for all beings regardless of race, gender, sexual preference, lifestyle choice, or religious beliefs.
A circle is an expression of the cyclical energy of the divine. It is without beginning or end, and everything lies within it. To be a part of a circle is to be a part of the search for wisdom, understanding, community, and magick.
