Group Overview: Hello!
I am looking to start what I would not really describe as a coven yet..but a network of young pagans/wiccans/curious individuals to meet and discuss paganism/wicca and hopefully have esbat/sabbat circles in the future. Circles would not be an immediate thing as no one would know each other yet and there would likely be alot of clashing of energies and it would likely shape up to be a complete dumpster fire, and no one wants that. : )
Now a little about me, I have been practicing Wicca for three years now. I would describe myself as experienced but with plenty of room to learn and grow. I have been solitary the entire time, learning mainly from books and my gut. I am big into astrology, I like to incorporate it into my workings (not that I would force that upon the group in circles, I want this to be a leaderless sort of deal) I also am into tarot, working on astral projection, and have a rather impressive gemstone collection if I do say so myself. : )
As for expectations:
Not much. Just have a postive attitude, understanding for those who may be less experienced, or a desire to listen and learn if you yourself are the newbie (not that those who have been practicing longer have all the answers)
Also, I think this may be a "duh" comment, but please have a genuine interest in Wicca or Paganism
I think an age range of 16-28 will work well. I'd like to keep it college aged. A few years here and is no biggie though.
