Group Overview: Welcome to Gaia's Rising CUUPS! We are an open pagan group affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Columbia, South Carolina. CUUPS stands for the Covenant Unitarian Universalist Pagans and we welcome anyone who wants to come to our meetings.
One of the missions of the Gaia's Rising CUUPS Chapter is to educate the congregation of the UU Congregation of Columbia and the community on Pagan beliefs, practices and philosophies, in order to dispel fear and intolerance and further encourage a climate of active acceptance of Pagan paths and practitioners.
We meet on Thursdays at 7:30 pm at the Library of the Unitarian Church on Hayward Street in Columbia. Both the meetings and rituals are open to the UUFC, Pagans in the community and people who do not consider themselves Unitarian or Pagan.
