Group Overview: We are not your usual circle, our metaphysical beliefs and perspective of nature are unique. Our group came to be with a combination of the old and the new, and in that way we are eclectic. The Sacred Songs, that are at the core of our tradition, are one of our unusual qualities. We meet for 3 Esbats a month (following the 3 manifestations of Grand Mother) , we also have 8 yearly Sabbats celebrating the phases of Grand Father, then we have the Day of Trance which is yearly and devoted to higher states of being.
Though we list as having open meetings, we do not wish to be flooded with strangers (amount of food can be an issue) . We also like to get to know visitors before they arrive for various reasons. Please see our web site for more information.
Though we are not incorporated we do offer spiritual services for life changes. In our tradition this means, Naming (baby blessing, usually done within 2 weeks of birth) , Progression (puberty) , Passage (adulthood) , Handfasting (bindings) , and Ascension (funiary rites) . We feel that such rites are for spiritual meaning, and not as much for legal meaning, for Handfastings, right now, the Justice of the Peace must be one of the steps.
