Group Overview: We are pleased that you are interested in the HVUUC CUUPS Chapter that is in East Tennessee. CUUPS is the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans. You can find more information about CUUPS at their web site www.cuups.org. Our sponsor congregation is the Holston Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. We hold a business meeting once a month on the third Sunday 15 minutes after the HVUUC service. Our business meeting runs roughly 1 hour with a 1 hour pagan activity or discussion afterwards. We hold workshops, provide services for our host congregation and 4 open public rituals a year. For dates and times, please check out our website.
We exist to provide a safe, family friendly environment for networking and celebrating pagan spirituality for our host congregation and for the surrounding pagan community. We are intentionally inclusive, welcoming followers of all paths and traditions who come with an open heart and mind and are willing to work with us in harmony. It is our hope that through education of ourselves and other pagans and non-pagans we can help build a safer, positive, pagan friendly environment in East Tennessee not only for ourselves but for the generations to come.
