Group Overview: Originally the US presence of an ages old Scottish Pagan Kirk, Celtic Circle Church has joined the 21st Century by welcoming people of all Pagan, neo-Pagan, and Wiccan faiths.
Sponsoring real life community support in Knoxville: Interfaith Clergy Community Service, and Alternative Life & Lifestyles support groups.
We do have set policies and procedures for clergy ordained through C.C.C. while conducting C.C.C. business, but each person is free to continue walking their own path. Our volunteer projects include Interfaith community building, institutional chaplaincy/ministry, and education classes available to all.
We have clergy persons legally ordained through various organizations, including Christian churches that have allowed continuance of their status. Due to Title 8 of Tennessee's Legal Code defining recognized ordinations and the questionable State Attorney General statement against Universal Life Church ordinations via mail or internet, we are very careful about ensuring official documents are handled by securely recognized clergy.
We are a registered church but have postponed completing Federal Code 501c3 certification due to using funds for feeding community instead of paying IRS blood money. It is a backburner topic we revisit annually.
