Group Overview: Coven of the River Oaks is an Alexandrian coven in the Nashville, TN area and we are currenty accepting new students for training in our Grove, Amethyst and Gold. The Alexandrian Tradition is one branch of British Traditional Wica and was founded by Alex Sanders.
Our goal is to train seekers to become Priests and Priestesses of the Wica. There is no laity in BTW. We worship the Lady of the Moon and Her consort, the Horned God.
Our training program is structured and formal. A seeker must first spend time in an Outer Court (Grove) setting before being considered for initiation into the Tradition. Training involves academic as well as hands-on activities. Admission to the Grove requires the completion of a questionnaire, interview and formal dedication ceremony. We want to help you forge a meaningful relationship with the Gods but ask that you be serious in your quest.
