Group Overview: Our goal is to develop a group of like mind and open minded individuals. To teach; support and help spread interest into not only spiritual development but to foster the growth of the community at large.
Our practice is to meet with individuals in a neutral location for a “meet and greet” to let everyone get a feel for each other. Initial impressions are important because some of us are very sensitive to ‘vibes’. Ideally, we will get a group together in which all members can begin at the same time. This is not cast in stone, however, this will eliminate the need to repeat information or present it to some individuals out of order. Again, there may be some acceptable exceptions. However, and I quote from the ‘Grand Plan’ “once the study group meetings have begun they will be presented on a once monthly basis for a period of ‘a year and a day’. The topics will include but are not limited to: the holidays, sabbats and esbats, the wheel of the year, herbs, gems and crystals, tarot, meditations, development of modern Wicca, traditions and philosophies, archetypes, ritual correspondences, Circle etiquette, Craft crafts, constructing ritual, performing ritual, tools of the Craft, magic versus magick, member requests, and much more.
Just to clarify, please understand that, this is not a “female” dominant religion. We prize above all else, harmony and balance, male and female, night and day, “as above, so below”. We look forward to meeting with others whether they are new to this path or an Elder. If we find we are of like mind and in agreement then the next step would be for you to join our study group.
