Group Overview: Sungate Coven is a learning coven established for the purpose of training Wiccan clergy, a place for those who wish to learn more about Wicca, and a place to worship with other Wiccans. Our circle is open, and contains both Coven members and friends of the Coven, both Pagan and non-Pagan. We welcome families and children into our Circle.
We believe in inclusiveness, and several of our members are involved in interfaith work. We respect all traditions and paths.
SunGate Coven adheres to the following beliefs:
First and foremost is the Wiccan Rede: An it harm
none, do as ye will.
Second, we believe in the Law of Three-Fold Return: That whatever energies we send out (both positive and negative) will come back to us three-fold (three times)
Third, we strive toward the goals of perfect love and perfect trust.
Fourth, our lives are based upon the Nine Noble Virtues:
Loyalty, Honor, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Integrity, Patience, Wisdom and Hospitality
Fifth, We believe we have a duty to provide service to the Coven, the Craft as a whole, to our Pagan community, and to the greater community in which we live. We must at all times try and do that which is best for all. We must also remember that our actions reflect on the Pagan community as a whole, that what we do can, and does, affect all.
Sixth, We believe in protecting our fragile environment. In all issues important to the ecology of our Earth, we must help as we are able, as opportunities present themselves.
