Group Overview: Coven of the Citrine Dragonfly is one of the covens organized under the Sacred Temple of the Raven, operating as Clan Raven of the Black Rose. We follow the Black Forest Tradition, and we are an oath bound Tradition. We are located in Houston, Texas. We meet for all esbats as a coven and attend rituals for the eight Sabbats at the Sacred Temple of the Raven, Clan Raven of the Black Rose. We are a teaching coven within Clan Raven of the Black Rose under the Black Forest Tradition, which has many covens.There is a organized curriculum as well as personal one on one instruction.
Membership is considered after submitting a Seeker's Packet which includes an application and short lesson similar to what you will be required to do as a coven member. You may also attend Sabbat rituals held in the Houston area as a guest to become more familiar with our Tradition. The eight Sabbat rituals are held at various locations including Northwest Houston, Sugar Land, Northeast Houston, Galveston, and Brazos Bend State Park. We also participate in the Grand Clan camping events in Pennsylvania, currently held every five years.
