Coven of the Four Fires

Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Dallas, Texas
Key Contact: Kevin Swaney

Spiritual Path: Wica trad/Neo Gardnerian
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Teaching Available

Group Overview: The Coven of the Four Fires is a coven working within the Wica tradition here in the DFW area. The Wica tradition was founded in the 70's by Eddie Bucynski. Our traditions lineage goes back to the Old Kentucky Line (OKL) of the Gardnerian tradition. In this way we have a lineage traceable to Gardner and the New Forest coven. The Wica tradition was founded as an independent and egalitarian line of the Gardnerian tradition to give equal leadership to both men and women within the coven and to welcome LGBT people to work within a traditional Craft setting. The Wica tradition is considered to be a "Neo Gardnerian" tradition.

We are an initiatory mystery tradition that honors the 13 full moon esbats of the year as well as the 8 sabbats of the wheel of the year. Our worship is centered around the Lady and Lord of the Wica who we know as the Lady of the Moon and the Horned God of Death and Resurection. The foundation of our practice is found in the mysteries of the Charge of the Goddess and the Descent of the Goddess. Our faith in the Craft and the Old Gods is rooted in the concepts of Perfect Love and Perfect Trust. We have three degrees of training and advancement. Our coven works skyclad.

We welcome all serious inquiries from individuals who are seeking training within a traditional craft coven. Thank you and Blessed Be
