Group Overview: SLPS is a 501 (c) 3 DBA of the Open Mind Foundation. We are open to all Pagans and those interested in knowing more about Paganism. This is student group, and we invite students from other schools who have no support to join us and members of the community. We have a very hands on approach. Our Motto is "Understanding Through Education, Education Through Experience." We want to get that real life experience by being educated on the different paths (for those who are new to theirs, or for those who are interested in becoming Pagan) performing and attending rituals of the different paths, and more. We feel that practical application and practice is the key to understanding. This allows all of us to be exposed and better understand our community at large. We often partner for events with the Utah State University Pagan Alliance. We volunteer with a local organizations to building community connection and diversity and in between our crafting activities and rituals, we hold a Witches Tea and Brew and the Beehive Tea Room at 12 w 300 s in Salt Lake City on Sundays at 11:00 am. Please come join our informal meet up and forum, and meet other local pagans and college students!
