Group Overview: NatureSpirit at UVa is a group for students at the University of Virginia who believe Nature is an important part of their Spirituality. We are different spiritual traditions united in celebrating and protecting the sacredness of Nature.
We host a variety of events and activities including interfaith worship services at the turning of the seasons. We explore different kinds of earth-centered traditions like Paganism, Wicca and others. Our focus is on sharing, creating community and learning from each other so that we can help each other find greater spiritual awareness and model the kind of world we'd like to live in.
The group also serves as a spiritual home away from home for students who practice earth based spirituality. We are a place to meet and make friends and provide support for each other through all the challenges, joys, and sorrows that we experience in our college experience.
