Group Overview: The Spiral Grove, an Interfaith Church of Nature Spirituality, celebrates the Nature Holidays in circles along the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, with members stretching across the planet in various locations. After several years of hard work and dedication we recently received our 501c3 status and so we look forward to putting our visions into action.
We are open to adding new circles to The Spiral Grove and would gladly assist anyone who would like to start a Spiral Grove nature spirituality circle in their area.
The Spiral Grove provides initiations, ordinations, and other rites of passage. We have many ordained pagan clergy (priests and priestesses) to assist those who wish to deepen their spiritual knowledge and mark their spiritual growth in a community of like mind.
The primary method of preparation for initiation is individual study guided by mentorship and combined with attendance at Grove circles for a year and a day. The Path to Ordination involves group trainings as well as individual mentorship and independent study.
Some circles work in a closed format but part of our mission is to make available at least one FREE, open event at each of the Nature Holidays and Sabbats.
We balance our upkeep of our Donation Center with other forms of outreach to our community at large which has included but is not limited to: enviromental clean-ups and a lake adoption.
We seek others with a strong connection and emphasis on protecting the earth and its inhabitants. We seek to celebrate through positive intent, harming none.
