Group Overview: We are a House of Pagan Priesthood within the Eternal Light initiatory tradition, sharing extended familial kinships with other affiliated Houses.
The Mission of the House of the White Eagle is to create a gateway whereupon the various occult, magickal and pagan traditions may find solidarity and come together to focus upon a common goal. Through the sharing of knowledge, ideas, and a desire to expand our Understanding of the mechanics of ourselves and the Universe (and the relationship existing between the two) , we evolve- but not alone.
Knowledge without Understanding is nothing more than simply memorizing words. There is so much thirst for knowledge out there and while mediums such as the Internet quenches it temporary, the state feels perpetual because we seldom have people to discuss the ideas, to broaden the concepts, to put theory into practice- in other words, to gain that necessary Understanding that builds into Wisdom. We Seek to accommodate those who seek for knowledge by providing that medium whereupon we can all meet and exchange ideas and gain mutual Understanding upon the concepts that intrigue us most.
The HWE stands as a "Middle Path" institute of occult learning. We emphasize neither upon the Right Hand Path nor the Left Hand Path, but respect and implement both as being necessary to a truly balanced individual. No-borders on geography, no-limits on knowledge: the House seeks to embrace knowledge without prejudice in a world where the like-minded are often limited by both...
We practice the rituals of the Western Tradition of Ceremonial Magick with an affinity for the Traditional Witchcraft in the observances of the Sabbats.
We are looking for people who are committed to establish an extended family unit, where acknowledgment extends beyond a handshake. A group whereupon we can rely upon one another, achieve goals set and objectives are met; one where we can become stronger together and seek balance upon a material plane where the scales seldom level. Any personal tradition is respected and accepted within the HWE, but in unison we stand as one in the High Arts, where self and Self grow and the individual becomes stronger not only collectively but in mundane living.
Minimum Requirements for Membership Consideration:
18 Years of Age or Older
Acceptance to a Set of Broad Principles of Belief
Adherence to Our Philosophy of the Priesthood
Recognition of the Social and Ecclesiastical connection to the Temple as a whole.
The ability to attend House meetings and ceremonies.
The Will to further one's Knowledge and Priesthood Potential.
