Group Overview: Welcome to the Moonlit Grove Initiates!
This group started two years ago as a few solitaries looking to share our interests in pagan practice, make friends, and support one another. This was behind us calling ourselves "initiates."
This group seeks to support and empower individuals who are either new to paganism and magick, or have been practicing as solitaries. Rather than follow a specific tradition, elder, or author, we gather and share from many sources, including our own experience, and take away from what we learn from each other. Events are organized and facilitated by members, and members are encouraged to take turns at leading circles and rituals. The bonding that comes out of this experience of equals mentoring equals is wonderful!
We currently have five active members and several pending members. We have a regular circle on Mondays, and observe esbats and sabbats together, sometimes on other days of the week. We also like to visit other groups and events of interest to the pagan community to observe, learn from and fellowship with them as well.
