Group Overview: WICCA- We are an eclectic group of mostly long-time practitioners dedicated to the wheel-of-the-year celebrations, and our traditions, (both old and new) , are based on contributions from our members.
We honor: The Earth-Goddess and her Consort, powers of the Elements and Directions, Nature Spirits, Ancestors, and a variety of Deities.
We are adult oriented, but open to adding families. Our rituals are created for the benefit and prosperity of our members who are considered extended family. Our leadership is not based on a hierarchy. Instead each member is given the freedom to be a leader or a follower in various activities, but our foundation is built from tribal principles where each person has his/her own equality and voice, and is encouraged to exercise that right.
We gather on the Sabbats through the year and develop themes that empower our members to live and grow in a collective spirit. Some of our practices also include: Spiritual healing, Psychopomp work, Reiki, Massage, Spiritual Research, Divination, Garden Magic, Food Magic, Herbal Lore, Barding, drumming-music-art-dance, etc.
SHAMANISM- For those who wish to go deeper we practice Shamanic ritual that includes deep meditative vision quests and journeying through drumming. Some of our Shamanic work is mixed in with our larger group rituals, but the more complex deeper sessions are reserved for those who show a desire to pursue this path.
We are open to new members provided there are no compatibility issues. Contact earthworms if interested.
