Group Overview: We are a Civilian Family/Military and Military Family oriented Temple in Aberdeen Wa. Our Tradition is Ordo Draconis Lupine we offer open circles and events for all interested, like minded, and open wiccan/pagans in the community. We offer a place for those in the Military and thier families to circle and socialize with others in the community both military and non-military alike.
The organization Will Be applying with its local authorities to become a legal entity in its own right. The name of the organization shall be Ordo Draconis Lupine and The Mother Temples Name shall be Y gwyr Yn Erbyn Byd.
We are Founding a new tradition, We are working on our Articles of incorporation, Tradition Bylaws/Edicts and preparing all documents to be recognised as a Tradition of Wicca and to file for a 501 c 3. Those founding have over 20 years in the carft each if not more.
Y Gwyr Yn Erbyn Byd Mother Temple O.D.L. {Welsh Gaelic: (Knowledge/Truth Against The World) - (EE-Gweer-Yin-Erbin-bid) } at present based in Aberdeen, WA.
Mission Statement:
As an establishment of the Religion and Spiritual beliefs of Wicca, we hold sacred the forms and processes of Life. Worship of the Divine as a duality, Celebration of the Seasons, Education, and Community Service and Outreach shall be the prime functions of this Shrine and its members. We strive for the advancement of All members; we believe Strongly in that Deity comes from within and that there is truth and duality in All of life. We strive for the advancement of each member in: Knowledge, Power, Wisdom, to gain acceptance, Understanding and courage to live ones life to the fullest through the universal Brother/Sisterhood of the Ordo Draconis Lupine.
To these ends we promote the following:
We shall endeavor in our daily lives to live in a manner that honors the Divine, personified in Wiccan Theology as the Goddess and the God.
We shall endeavor in our daily activities to live a life of balance in all things, but not at the expense of all reason or feeling.
We shall refrain from proselytizing, as we feel that each individual should be allowed to seek and find their own path though we will not shirk any seeker from aiding in their search.
We shall promote the support of one another within the Tradition and the community in our healing, growth and aspirations.
We shall welcome all inquiries from individuals or groups who may be curious about our spirituality, and will answer, to the best of our abilities, any questions openly and honestly, in an attempt to correct any misconceptions about our Belief.
We shall consider hatred, prejudice and bigotry to be highly offensive, and refuse to promote or condone such behavior, regardless of its form or nature.
We shall provide opportunities for group worship in a non-threatening, supportive environment for Neo-Pagans, Nature Spiritualists, and all others of a like or open mind.
We shall explore, practice and assist in the learning of Wiccan traditions and beliefs, primarily and particularly, but not exclusively, those put forth by the Ordo Draconis LupineTradition of Wicca.
Further we will endeavor to inspire All members and the community at large to be fair, open and accepting of different ideals and views as all life is striving for the same end goal, only in different manners or paths..
