I am forming a study/discussion group to explore different aspects of Wicca as well as other esoteric studies.
The next meeting will be 7 to 9PM, Monday, September 28, 2009 at 943 N. 89th St. That's on 89th street between Aurora and Linden, next door to the Aurora Veterinary hospital (please do not park in their parking lot) .
Our topic for this sessions will be: What do you want the most out of a group? When you see ads like this or MeetUp groups, what do you hope to gain from it? It was brought up in our last discussion that we do a lot of meeting and talking and people would also like to DO something. Ritual? Crafts? Writing? Etc. Come and be heard. This is free and open to all adults.
Please keep in mind that this is a discussion group. It's not a debate with winners and losers and it's not a time to proselytize. Please be respectful of others opinions and keep in mind that they are only opinions. This is offered as an opportunity to meet other Wiccans and to deepen and clarify what it means to each individual to be a Wiccan in the world today.
Please contact me if you are interested in joining the group or if you have more questions. Going forward, we can plan on meeting to discuss other topics the last Monday of each month with an option to meet more often.
