Group Overview: Greetings All.
Silver Oak is a Georgian Silverknife coven in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Silver Oak is a teaching coven. We accept those who have a serious interest in pursuing the worship of the God and Goddess. This is an exciting time for us to open up the group to new members. If you are very new to the Craft or Wicca we offer a "Year and a Day" course. And, if you don't fit in with us, we may be able to point you in the direction of something more suited to you.
Georgian Wicca utilizes many practices similar to British Traditional Wicca (BTW) . We are an Initiatory practice that uses a degree system much like BTW covens (e.g. Gardnarian) . Georgian is a “blended” set of practices, once described by Zanoni Silverknife (our original HPS) at the signing of The Covenant of the Goddess Charter as “Wiccan Potpourri.” While our Initiates have a light-hearted approach to the religious aspect as being celebratory of the Life, they are unmistakably serious in their approach and practice of the Craft. Let there be mirth & reverence!
