Group Overview: Merry Meet and welcome to our little spot on Witchvox!
We are Moon Visions. We are an eclectic / non-religious group. Our paths come from Celtic, Traditional, Santeria, Dianic, Atheistic Pagan and even Correllian Wiccan backgrounds.
We place alot of emphasis on lore, palmestry, tarot, crystal therapy, chakra balancing, spellworking, poppets and charms.
We are a very hands-on, creative type of group. Most everything we do creative spellworking. We do get together and do these activities as a group but mostly we teach eachother and work together. We work within our own energies.
We do perform large rituals during certain times of the year, and people may attened by invite only, however they are on private propery so please do not bring children. If you are intersted in attending a ritual, please email us once we have a date posted and you will recieve an invite if space permits.
Our circle is open only to members who have attained 3rd degree in knowledge. We do not offer teaching for seekers or others who wish to advance in degree. It is not required that you participate in the great rite since we consider this to be an oath to the religious aspect of Wicca. We are mainly atheistic and only use deity as a symbol as one would use santa claus for christmas and etc.
We utilize witchcraft as it is intended to be. A craft. We are not wiccan, we are true witches. We utilize the god and goddess symbolicly as they are intended to be utilized. As the earths energy and the energy of the seasons. We believe performing rituals skyclad is enitrely up to the individual. If you do not feel comfortable performing skyclad you do not have to. However, those who wish to, do have the freedom to do so.
Want to join?
Anyone interested must past an extensive knowledge test and meet with our leaders. Knowledge test is both oral, written and will require you to create 3 spells for the subject of our choosing, one ritual for a full coven, one tarot reading and another demonstration of a divination technique of your choice. (i.e. pamestry, runes, scrying, etc) We only take people who we feel would fit as part of a family unit, that will participate and that we can learn from and in turn share our knowledge with. This is not a coven in which you join and leave when you find another one that best suits you.
Once you have applied, it may take months even up to a year before you are taken in as a member. This is because we must know you physically and your energy. We build forever friendships and are completely dependant on one another. Please do not contact us unless you are devoted to the craft and have attained 3rd degree.
**We are available for handfasting, handpartings, and naming ceremonies.** Please contact us with the date and the ceremony you are inquiring about and one of us will get back to you. We normally have someone available to perform the ceremony you require. There is no fee for performing ceremonies.
Since I have gotten emails about our no children request: No we do not allow children to attend our gatherings. Its not due to adult themes, its that we are focused on our workings and having to attend to children creates a distraction and break in concentration. If you have a child, please make sure you are able to make arrangements during circle times. Please do not apply if you feel you will have issue with finding care for your child during circle times. We consider children to be under 16. However, ages 16-18 will require parental consent to attend since many rituals can run very late into the night and even all night (summertime) .
