Group Overview: We are a group who have joined together to visit with like minded people and practice our faiths together.
Shambhala Rising is the name that was chosen for this group for we are all striving for the secrets in what life has to offer us, and we are rising above our troubles to accomplish our goals.
Our group started meeting at my house (Zana's house) in August 2008. The day of the meeting has finally settled on Saturday Evenings, time depends on individual availablity.
I, Zana, have been officially ordained as a High Priestess, and we, as a group, have come to make an official circle. I say circle, not coven, because we do not have the confining super structure as a coven has. We all chip in with knowledge, wisdom, and advice. The title of circle is to represent the never ending cycle of friendship we have come to love and adore in this group. This is a teaching group, starting with 101 to advanced classes as well.
I am posting here to let others of like mind know that we are in the Clark county community and there is other options for group teachings.
We do public Sabbats, as the wheel passes and do public classes as well.
