A Pagan Organization
Roots is a group of the greater Spokane area which promotes spiritual growth, provides spiritual, ethical and magickal guidance and education, provides a safe space for Pagan religious expression, learning, socialization and magickal work, develops important skills, trains Pagan clergy and organizes Pagan rituals.
Roots offers to its members classes in magickal and spiritual education. Classes include topics on Holidays, Pagan Etiquette, Altar Setup, Ritual and Ritual Tools, Pagan Paths, Research, Sacred Space, Magick Basics, Preparing Oneself for Ritual, Meditation, Grounding and Centering, Everyday Practice, Religious Exploration and others. Many classes are freely given but some have costs for materials which must be defrayed by members.
Roots offers open events to the community which include holiday celebrations, guest speakers, full moon rituals and craft workshops. Roots also has members only events in which we honor the commitment and success of individual members in exploring their own paths.
Roots welcomes individuals 16 years of age and older from all paths to join the organization (minors can join with parental permission) . In order to become a member of Roots individuals are required to complete and submit the application along with the annual dues of $20.00 and attend two free classes.
