Group Overview: Ok, so I changed the name, it just kind of came to me yesterday and since I actually got a response today I thought it was the perfect time for an update!
So, I, Allie, do not live directly in Milwaukee, I actually live in Oak Creek. I moved here about a year ago, and am seriously wanting to work with others, perhaps form a coven of sorts. Yes, this may become a coven, it all depends on how many people contact me.
This will not be a group that focuses specifically on one pagan path, though many of my own practices come from Wiccan ones. Once we get a group started and we learn what everyone believes in and how they practice we will work on how we will do it with a group. We can blend things together and from time to time different people can lead in ritual and we will do things the way that they enjoy doing them. I think it would be a great learning experience and good for spiritual growth!
I've been a practicing pagan for 5 years now and will be turning 20 in november. I take great pride in my religion and anyone who feels the need to mock me or it or any of my fellow practitioners will not be tolerated. If you join this group merely for "sh*ts and giggles" I will know and I will not allow you to continue meeting with us.
You need not be Wiccan or even pagan if you wish to join. I have made this an ecclecic group so that we may blend a bit of everyones beliefs into our workings and rites. If you are not pagan, please, feel free to join us if you have an honest interest in the religion. You may not want to take it as your own path, but if it is something that you've always just wanted to "see the inside workings of" you may attend rites and rituals and join if you please. If you do not join in I merely ask that you not be a distraction and that you respect all those there.
I am allowing people ages 18 and older to join. No younger for obvious reasons. If you I speak with your parents in person though and they give their consent, I'm sure that would be fine as well. I just don't want any parents breathing fire down my neck.
If you are interested, please, do not hesitate to call me! I have given my cellphone number, but, unfortunatly, my voicemail does not seem to be working with my new phone. If you call the number that I have given in this article and I do not answer, don't worry, just try again later. I answer to all numbers, no matter if I know it or not! If you continue to have no luck go ahead and call my apartment number which is 414-764-2371 A man my answer, don't worry, that's my roommate and it either means I'm not home or he got to the phone before me (which he usually does) Just ask for Allie! If I'm not home just leave a name and number and say that it's about the Witchvox article. If no one answers just leave a name and number again, as well as saying that it's about the Witchvox article and I'll get back to you when I get home!
Of course you can email me if you'd rather do that, which I've also given for the article.
I hope that many will be contacting me soon as I've so longed to begin group practicings! See you soon!
