Group Overview: My friend got the idea to make this coven the day she did my initiation. She told me that years ago, she was part of a small group of people that had monthly meetings at the mall, and she really missed those meetings when the group stopped meeting. A few months later, I was talking with another friend about setting something up, and she directed me to The Witch's Voice. It was here that I was finally able to put a little something together.
Here we are a year later and, though our coven is still very small, it has gained a few new members. We now have a web site. There are two sites actually, both are through a site called Proboards. For those of you who dont know what that is, Proboards is basically a forum website, much like that of the groups you would join on any other site. The site that I am advertising here is the one that is open to anyone who wishes to join.
Though we are not restricted to the Huntington/Barboursville area, it is still our goal to hold monthly meetings with the coven members. The meetings will not be mandatory. Our coven is very modern in its approach, and we accept people from all faiths. As of late, we seem to see a lot more Christo-Pagans (Christian Pagans) .
My friend Raven and I follow the Goddess Path, but we are open to understanding other faiths. We also welcome those who wish to be observers of our faith. As stated above, we also wont turn away anyone who wants to join a coven, but is too far away, aka: another state or the other side of the state.
