Important Announcement from Skyclad Concepts
Due to many factors, the Autumn 2006 edition is the last printed issue of Moonlit Muse that will be published. The articles submitted for the Winter 2006/2007 edition will be posted on our website for everyone to enjoy.
Skyclad Concepts published the first edition of Moonlit Muse for Ostara 2005 as a small 8-page issue. Over time it was expanded to 32 pages with content submitted by Pagans from Calgary, the rest of Canada, and the United States.
The amount of work needed to get an issue ready to distribute is enormous, and our energies are now focused elsewhere. We are moving on to other projects, but will miss the magazine and what it represents. Our mandate was “To enlighten, inform, and entertain the Pagan community. We strive to bring the community closer together, as well as to enlighten the non-pagan public to our spirituality.”
We will continue trying to help build the Calgary community by hosting events through the Calgary Pagan Network and our company, Skyclad Concepts, which will also be offering home-crafted products for sale through our website and in specialty stores in 2007.
The Calgary Witches’ Ball will still be held in 2007 as a public event hosted by three sponsoring companies. The Ball is a fantastic time and we want to continue the tradition.
Back issues will be available for purchase for a limited time. We are sold out of a few editions but some are still available. Please email us at moonlitmuse@shaw.ca to order back issues.
A note to our subscribers – you will receive a money order by mail in the next few months as reimbursement for future issues not received.
We wish to thank everyone who supported us in this venture - our vendors, advertisers, writers, photographers, and most of all our readers. Without all the support we received, the magazine would not have lasted as long as it did.
