Canadian Wiccan Culture - Resource Call
A new website, www.thewicca.ca, is aimed at helping to recognize and promote Canadian Wiccan culture. Canadian Wicca has continued and evolved from its British origins in a uniquely Canadian manner. Canadian Wiccan artists, poets, academics, musicians, craftspeople, shops, and festivals have all come to seek and celebrate the divine in ways that reflect the diversity of their country's culture and geography.
A call for submissions is being made for biographies of Canadian individuals that have contributed to their local community or to Canadian Wiccan culture. Biographies can focus on musicians, artisans, craftspeople, academics, writers, stitchwitches, or any other individual that has been an integral part of their community's growth.
To promote the growth of Canadian Wicca, a call for submissions is also being made for any Canadian stores, festivals, or products that are Wiccan related.
Articles, poetry, and lyrics from Canadian Wiccans are also being sought for inclusion.
